The IC Youth Group welcomes
young people from 8th - 12th grade

Youth Directors - Rosie and Zack Barker, Laura and Frank Howell
and Fr. Jose Cruz

We have regular weekly meetings on Sunday afternoons (September - May) in the gym beginning at 5:00 p.m. Meetings generally consist of prayer, activities, faith sharing using Life Teen, and FOOD. In addition to these weekly meetings, we offer a number of other activities, centered around service, fellowship, and social justice.  The IC Youth Group partners with other parish youth groups for special events and participates in various Diocesan-wide activities.  Contact Fr. Jose Cruz with questions or to be added to the email distribution to stay up to date on information.

Sign up for Weekly Dinners

SIGN UP HERE to provide dinner for the youth group.  Parishioners are invited to donate dinner; this is a great way for our parish to come together and support our youth.

There are a number of ways to support the ministry...

  • The most important of these is prayer. Those who are involved represent the young church of today. They are faced with a number of important choices, including the choice of life-style and vocation. They need all of our prayers.
  • If you are in 8th grade through 12, get involved! Attend the regular weekly meetings or pick another event to get your feet wet. If you have ideas, especially for ways in which we can provide service to the parish, school, or wider community, let us know.
  • We ask parishioners to help in feeding dinner to the youth group each Sunday evening, to volunteer sign up above or contact Sandie at the email above.
  • If you are an adult with a special talent or story to tell, let us know by calling the parish office at (901) 725-2700.
  • If you would like to make a monetary contribution to our youth group to support the ministry, make your check payable to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and designate your gift for "Youth".
