St. Joseph Statue Purchases Support Bethlehem Christians

In honor of St. Joseph and in celebration of Pope Francis declaring Dec. 8, 2020 to Dec. 8, 2021 as the Year of St. Joseph, our Catholic Diocese of Memphis is teaming up with the Christians of the Holy Land in presenting the opportunity to own a beautiful hand-carved olive wood statue of St. Joseph. Each purchase helps our faithful Christians in Bethlehem with much needed employment and hope. Also, the statues are unique with no two statues alike--and the statues will be blessed in the Holy Land with an official letter from Bethlehem.

With Father’s Day soon approaching (Sunday, June 20), the hand carved St. Joseph statue would be wonderful gift to increase devotion to St. Joseph. He was a Father in the fullest definition. A humble, trusting, obedient, silent, but strong person who taught Jesus about dignity of human relations and the sanctity of work as a woodworker. St. Joseph is an inspiration to all.
