Fr. Robert W. Marshall, Jr., Installed as Pastor of the Cathedral

On January 6, 2018, His Excellency the Most Reverend Martin D. Holley, D.D., Bishop of Memphis, presided over the installation of Reverend Robert W. Marshall, Jr., as Pastor of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish.  The celebration took place on the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord and marked the 47th anniversary of the establishment of the Diocese of Memphis.  Attending the ceremony were members of Father Marshall’s family, including several alumnae of ICCS predecessor schools.  Father Marshall’s mother, Margaret Anne Martin Marshall, graduated from Catholic High School in 1944 when it was staffed by the Sisters of Mercy on the Immaculate Conception campus.  Also attending were three of Father Marshall’s first cousins:  Janet Martin Quinn (ICHS ’70), Louise Martin Carpenter (ICHS ’74) and Larry Martin with his wife, Gayle Zimmerman Martin (ICHS ’69).
