Welcome
Building upon a rich tradition that reaches back to 1921, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is also the “Mother Church” within our Catholic Diocese of Memphis. Our focus is always directed primarily on Christ Jesus as He is proclaimed by our Catholic faith. We most clearly reflect that focus on Christ as we gather each Sunday, and throughout the week, at the Eucharist. From that mystery emanates all other facets of our church life!
On our Web site we especially invite you to take a glimpse at Immaculate Conception Cathedral School. Now into its 10t0th year on this Midtown campus, our school gives a rare example within this metropolitan area of rich ethnic diversity, academic excellence and a deep commitment to the Christian life within our Catholic tradition. Immaculate Conception Cathedral School has a co-ed Lower School/Middle School (pre-K through 8th grade).
We invite you to come for a visit to our Cathedral! We gather as the Cathedral Parish under the patronage of Mary, the Mother of our Savior, and we pray that we as a people might be as faithful in doing God’s will as was Mary in her witness.
