For those adults interested in growing in their understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Faith, a wide scope of classes are offered throughout the year at the Parish and Diocese in conjunction with the
Office of Catechesis and the Institute for Liturgy and Spirituality (click here for current schedule)
Parishioners may also join one of many Parish-based Adult Faith Sharing Groups that typically meet weekly in the Fall and Spring of each year. You may sign-up through the website or by calling the Parish office, 725-2700.
Each year you are invited to join with other Cathedral Parishioners for our annual reflective weekend Retreat at the Diocesan Retreat Center at Dancyville. Watch the website and weekly Bulletin for sign-up information.
The Gospels of the Easter Triduum was a class taught from January through March of 2009 focusing on the Gospels of the Triduum. Click here to view an excerpt from the class.
Religious Education Sessions for school age children are offered on Sunday mornings each year beginning in September. Registration procedure is announced in the weekly Parish Bulletin. Blest Are We is the curriculum used in the PRE program. You may visit their website to explore.
First Eucharist and Penance are received during the spring when the child is in the second grade. Confirmation is administered to those in the eighth grade or older. Diocesan requirements state that a child must be enrolled in religious education classes for at least one year prior to sacrament preparation. Attendance by parents at parental sacrament classes is also required.

Vacation Bible School is back this summer June 28 - July 2! Rising K-6th grade children are welcome. Lots of volunteers needed, rising 7th graders are eligible to help!
